- Ruby Group are looking for a management accountant to join a fast growing retail business that employ over 2000 people and have a turnover of 250 million. Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will be to produce a full set of monthly management accounts with commentaries and variance analysis. Analysing key expenditure areas, balance sheet reconciliation. Monitoring and reconciling all remittances including credit cards, cheques and cash. Reconciling bank accounts for the group. Preparing and submitting government returns, including VAT, Intrastat and Office of National Statistics questionnaires. Assisting in the preparation of the annual financial accounts audit pack.
The ideal applicant will be a finalist / newly qualified ACCA or CIMA candidate. You must have produced a full set of monthly management accounts. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work is essential. Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and ideally exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 financial accounting systems.
