- Description
- Ruby Group are recruiting for a central London Management Accountant position suitable for a finalist or recently qualified (0-3 years PQE) ideally with Professional Services or multi-site experience.
They have an open plan office with a friendly environment of 50 people in a finance department. The business is stable and established, boasting £350 million turnover and steady year on year growth. Your benefits will include a KPI driven £2,000 annual bonus (paid monthly), 25 days holiday, pension and private healthcare.
Your responsibilities include:
- • Producing a full set of Management Accounts for your assigned business partnering function.
- • To producing sales reports for publication to the business in an accurate and timely manner.
- • Reconciliation of journal postings to ensure they are processed in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with each of the sites, merchandisers, purchase ledger, sales ledger and finance departments.
- • Calculation of gross profit investigating variances and responding to queries.
- • Prepare ad hoc sales analysis for publication to the business.
- • System reports for inclusion in the monthly management pack.
- • Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely basis.
- • Take ownership of ad hoc queries/projects (such as new business plans and assistance with the budgeting & forecasting process).
- • Providing information for the year-end audit both internally and to the external auditors with explanations of variances.
The ideal Management Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Finalist or recently qualified accountant (CIMA (ACMA) or ACCA)
• Professional Services or multi-site experience would be advantageous.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills (PivotTables, V-Lookups, data manipulation, etc)
• Access Dimensions or Tempest (Advantageous)
