- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for an experienced payroll supervisor within the business and professional services investment industry based in central London.
They have good benefits including gym membership a vibrant and busy open plan office with a friendly environment of 50 people in a finance department. The business is stable and established, boasting £350 million turnover and steady year on year growth.
The ideal Payroll Team Leader will possess the following attributes/skills:
· Experience in Recruitment (desirable)
· Shared Service knowledge (desirable)
· CIPP payroll technician (or equivalent)
Your responsibilities will include:
· Supervise and Lead the Payroll Department
· Prioritise workload for Team members
· Ensure Accurate and Timely management of processing work
· Coordinate with Manager to ensure goals and objectives of the team are met
· Assist manager with development and implementation of new starters
· Maintain regular contact with Senior members of staff within businesses
· Monitor team and individual performance and review regularly
· Ensure all procedures are adhered to
· Ensure manager is aware of any high escalations or issues that have arisen
· Identify team requirements and skill sets of individuals
· Ensure knowledge is shared between individuals
· Team and Individual career development
· Review of Overpayment Reasons and pitfalls
· Review and complete reviews of all individuals
