Ruby Group are looking for a Finance Manager to join an well known fashion retail brand. This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Head office for an Online Finance Manager. You will report to the Head of FP&A and provide support to the Online team including the Ecommerce Director and be the key finance contact for Warehouse Operations. Your responsibilities will be to provide. Reporting of weekly and monthly performance, by country, product and marketing channel. Analysis of performance issues, highlight opportunities and risks to future performance. Preparation of Online channel budgets and forecasts including capex. Preparation of monthly management accounts. Board report and relevant analysis and commentary as well as overseeing preparation of marketing accruals. Review of overheads and challenge cost overspends. Profit and loss reporting at total and country level. Business case preparation and subsequent performance analysis of new initiatives as well as monthly reporting of capex spend. Assessment of currency impacts. Management of junior analyst and indirectly the person reconciling payments to orders in the Accounts team. Revenue protection (including fraud management screening) and reconciliation of demand to sales. Commercial appraisal of contracts including Delivery supplier, Payment Service Provider, CRM supplier etc. Forecast and analysis of promotions. Ad hoc analysis as required.
The ideal applicant will have a professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have at least two years post qualified experience. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to challenge senior management. Strong analytical ability combined with good presentation skills. System literate with good Excel abilities. Experience of online retails is advantageous. Our client offers an excellent working environment and benefits package.
