- Ruby Group are looking for an Associate Director to join a ftse100 real estate business located in central London, you will be reporting to the director of Department Residential Capital Markets. You will be focusing on the continental European side of the business dealing large scale development and investment transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to build on the team’s existing relationships and to leverage from a pipeline of transactional instructions across the residential asset class as well as to further promote the brand within the investment sector in Europe. In addition, you will further develop the valuations and consultancy business within the sector. The role is based within the London office but there will be frequent travel throughout the EU to build relationships within the existing teams and client base. You will build strong business relationships. Work and transact with institutional clients on existing investment and development opportunities. Formulate and deliver presentations with confidence and excellent attention to detail. Research, analyse and present complex financial data.
The ideal applicant will be educated to Degree level, ideally within economics, property or finance and have achieved at least a 2.1. You must have a professional qualification in either RICS, CFA, ACA or CIMA. Language skills in either German/ French/ Italian/ Spanish are advantageous. Understand how wider macro-economic trends affect the markets we work in. Willingness to get involved in all aspects of the department and evidence good team working skills is a necessity. To work with other European teams covering the markets to provide transparency on clients, deals and pitches. Additional skills in financial structuring and capital raising would be an advantage. Strong analytical and excel modelling skills essential. You must have a proven track record working and transacting with institutional clients on existing investment and development opportunities. You must have excellent communications skills and the ability to prioritise work. Excellent attention to detail and quickly build rapport and long-standing relationships.
