Ruby Group have been instructed on a Part Qualified Accountant position for a FTSE 250 business based in Zone one. The role is an excellent opportunity for any finance professional who is looking to complete their ACCA or CIMA in a globally recognised company. The purpose of the position is to assist with the budgeting and forecasting preparation, analyse the departments' performance and business partner the divisional department managers.
The main responsibilities for the role are: - Complex balance sheet reconciliation ensuring SOX compliance, be heavily involved with the close of the month end process, assist in the groups quarterly revenue recognition. Ensure the correct allocation of costs between departments/entities based on agreed cost drivers. Dual ownership of accounting for the principal cost to the business being staff costs and owning several department P&Ls, develop relationships with relevant divisional and departmental heads, producing specific reports and analysis when required.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, part qualified in ACCA/CIMA, have excellent communication skills, intermediate/advanced Excel skills and have the drive to progress their career.
