Management Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a newly qualified or finalist level Management Accountant to join a privately-owned global media company located in Central London. This role sits in a team of 5 reporting into the head of finance. It has arisen because of an internal promotion. Your responsibilities will be to prepare monthly management accounts for the profit centres as well as the head office. Run profit and loss reports and analyse against budgets and forecasts. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in year-end audit. Perform all general ledger activities, balance sheet analysis and reconciliation, commissions calculation and entries and variance analysis. Assist with year-end and audit, during audit time you will be the conduit between auditors and Managers. You will also create reports required for month-end close.

The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level and be finalist level or newly qualified in ACCA or CIMA. You must Possess a solid understanding of finance within a multinational organisation. You must have prior experience dealing with a group structure i.e. branches and subsidiaries. You will have experience of accounting for foreign subsidiaries or branches. You must have a minimum 3-5 years Accounting experience including performing types of duties listed above. Excellent written and communication skills are essential, knowledge of the media or publishing industry is beneficial. This is an exciting time to join the company as they have plans to expand.
