Ruby Group are recruiting for a temporary, interim opportunity suitable for a Finance Systems Manager within a leading technology business based in Central London.
They are in a great location next to a tube station in zone 1 and have a medium-sized London office with a wider team in international locations.
This is a programme management role for a system implementation where you will be investigating the status quo while setting out a request for proposal (RFP) document, testing and selecting systems while leading the program management of a small team, creating training packs with robust controls.
Your duties will include:
• Leading the Design, Development, Implementation, Data Migration, Integration, Testing, Training and Go-Live for all relevant employees
• Ensuring processes are refined to work with the new system and sufficient internal controls are in place to meet audit requirements
• Leading the integration of the chosen system with other core finance and business systems
• Documenting all processes and system changes
• Ensuring the finance team are fully trained to maximise the benefit from the new system
• Supporting the finance systems strategy of moving to a new system e.g. Sage, NetSuite etc.
The ideal Finance Systems Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Direct experience of leading the upgrade of existing and implementing new finance systems (ideally within a growth business)
• Strong financial systems knowledge
• An accountancy background (Ideally with an ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA qualification)
