- Ruby Group are recruiting for a central London based Interim Financial Controller to work for a global creative design & technology e-commerce business with offices around the world and 6 – 700 employees.
The business is a creative, sharp, dynamic and recognised with circa £100 million turnover.
The role will be based in their head office in Central London, with possible travel to the US, and will report directly into the Finance Director. In this role you will be responsible for managing a global Finance team of eleven, with direct reporting responsibility for UK and US-based Finance Managers and a Group Management Accountant.
- The role will involve ownership of all accounting requirements, reporting, processes and controls,
- Management of the monthly close process
- Partnering with all areas of the business including FP&A
- Ensuring relevant and timely financial information is produced and circulated
- The role will also involve working closely with external auditors to produce financial statements.
The ideal Interim Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Extensive experience working at Finance Manager level and above with strong leadership capabilities and deep business acumen
- Experience in a fast-moving global environment
- Proven track record of developing, coaching and managing teams, ideally with remote management experience
- Proven ability to understand and develop solutions for operational and financial issues
- Experience with NetSuite (desirable)
- US financial experience (desirable)
