- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for a Part Qualified US Assistant Accountant within a leading technology business based in Central London.
They are in a great location next to a tube station in zone 1 and have a medium-sized open-plan London office with a wider team in international locations and some immediate growth plans.
The company requires someone to work through a transition period from a US-listed business.
You will be reporting to the financial controller doing a mixture of financial and management accounting. Other duties will include, maintaining internal multi-currency accounts, Bank and balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger maintenance. You will also be preparing management reports that provide accurate and timely financial and statistical information to aid decision making and assisting with the US ledger reporting.
The ideal Assistant Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
Experience interacting with a US head office accountancy function
Part qualified (or equivalent - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) accountant
Exposure to a major ERP system (ideally with new system integration or change experience)
An efficient and organised multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills and experience influencing internal stakeholders
A positive team player who can deal with the varying pace of a busy finance function
