- Ruby Group are recruiting for a temporary opportunity suitable for an experienced accountant to work for a global creative design & technology e-commerce business with offices around the world and 6 – 700 employees.
The business is a creative, sharp, dynamic and recognised with circa £100 million turnover.
The role to support the UK Finance Manager and the team over the coming months with month-end tasks and audit preparation. There will be reconciliations, dealing with prepayments, fixed assets, accruals etc along with reconciling customer and supplier accounts, so a good amount of exposure to all facets of the finance team.
The ideal accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Part/fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or decent industry experience
- This could be ideal for a candidate that has recently finished up from an accounting firm and looking to have their first hand in industry
- This is a great chance for someone to immerse themselves in a fast-paced commercial role
• Strong excel skills are important (VLOOKUP, pivots etc)
• Great problem solver, comfortable getting their hands dirty with reconciliations and the cleaning up of accounts
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude and outlook
