- Ruby Group are exclusively recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for an experienced Bookkeeper/Management Accountant from an accountancy practice background with training or leadership exposure based in Croydon with Construction Industry Standards (CIS) exposure and knowledge of Xero.
The firm has a rich history and is well established with a practical, business partnering, person-centred approach.
You will be focusing on management accounts so; accruals, prepayments, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll journal entries, work in progress accounting (WIP) and a bit of bookkeeping. You will have 4 direct reports where the focus will be on training and some support to review work but the main focus will be on delivery and working at the client sites.
The ideal Management Accounts Senior will possess the following attributes/skills:- Construction industry background CIS (required)
- Xero (required)
- Previous experience of training a team with a professional approach
- A confident demeanour to match the culture of the construction industry sector
- AAT qualification (desirable) – Open to those seeking further ACCA or ACA studies
- 5 years minimum experience
- The ability to work 09:00 – 17:30, on client sites, Monday to Friday
- Can come from a practice or industry background
