Group Finance Manager

Ruby Group are exclusively recruiting a Group Finance Manager position for a FTSE250 based in Central London. This permanent role is reporting into the Finance Director and working within a team of 8. Please see below for the duties/responsibilities of the role: -

• Managing the Group Finance reporting requirements and taking responsibility for the effective and timely delivery of consolidated financial and management reports, interim statements and financials for the annual Report and Accounts.
• Providing financial support to the Group Executive Board and PLC Board, including overall responsibility or the timely delivery of the annual plan report and ad hoc requests from the Group CEO and CFO.
• Line and performance management responsibility of the Group Analyst
• Maintaining good working relationships with all divisional finance teams to ensure timely submission of information and adherence to group accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the Group accounting policies and finance manuals are appropriately formulated and communicated around the Group.
• Provision of advice and solutions to complex accounting issues
• Ongoing liaison with external auditors on all aspects of the Group audit process.

The ideal candidate will have the following: -

• Professional accountancy qualification essential (ACA, CIMA, ACCA - or equivalent)
• Experience in a group reporting environment
• Previous Consolidation experience
• Strong Excel
• Strong technical accounting skills (IFRS)
• Detail orientated
