- Ruby Group are recruiting for a large scale London based business process outsourcing (BPO) firm seeking a temporary to permanent Group Accountant.
They as a dynamic, complex and highly acquisitive global business. You will get exposure to interesting accounting issues, M&A, FRS 102 and IFRS conversion, system implementations and outsourcing. The business respects and rewards smart competent accountants, if you feel you can add value, learn quickly and work autonomously this will be recognised and rewarded. Should you want to work remotely or in the office they do not mind, it is all about delivery.
You will be supporting the Financial Controller with the completion of the monthly and annual financial reports for the UK business. This will involve:
• The consolidation of weekly reports (24 entities with reporting from sub-entities)
• Support the preparation of group statutory accounts
• Answering group audit queries
• Preparation of consolidations for either planning or forecasting
• Checking group companies are IFRS compliant in advance of year-end
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and reviewing tax compliance
The ideal Group Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Fully-Qualified accountant – ACA (ICAEW), CA, ICAS, CPA, ACCA, CIMA (ACMA)
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Significant IFRS 16 exposure
• Significant group and technical accounting experience
