Finance Manager

Ruby Group are recruiting a Finance Manager (P2P) position for an International property group based in their Shared Service Centre in London. The role is a hybrid working position with 1-2 days in the office and the rest working from home. The Finance Manger position will report into the Director of Finance and will manage a team of up to ten. Please see below for the duties/responsibilities:-

• Manage day-to-day activities across finance functions within the SSC and promote improvement
• Ensure the accuracy of purchase ledgers and compliance with the accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policies and procedures and GAAP.
• Manage accurate & timely posting of supplier invoices, review of payment batches and ensure payments
• Ensures correct authorisation processes have been followed and clear segregation of duties is maintained.
• Manage and maintain supplier relationships & queries in a timely & professional manner.
• Reviews supplier reconciliations regularly to identify outstanding invoices and/or payments and ensure any discrepancies are investigated and resolved in timely manner.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness & efficiency of existing AP processes and procedures. Drive automation and efficiency within the shared services centre.
• Proactively look for root cause of issues raised within p2p cycle.

The ideal candidate will have had experience in a similar function, started or completed an ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification, have advanced Excel skills and be a strong communicator. The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience and exposure to a shared service environment.
