- Ruby Group are recruiting for a very well-known television production and distribution company based in Central London who are hiring a permanent Finance Assistant to join their team.
They offer study support, 25 days holiday and it will initially be a 100% remote role until 2022 when they will transition to 2 to 3 days in the office (or 5 days if you wish). The culture is excellent, and this role has had several years if stability, the people are helpful and you will be familiar with a number of their productions.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Dealing with intercompany divisional royalties, processing sales info, allocating and reconciling
• Processing digital income, updating the royalty statements and recognising the revenue to allow the internal system to process payments while raising the invoices for existing and new suppliers
• Assisting with month end close, revenue reconciliations, journal creation and query resolution
• This is a high volume, low value role with lots of consolidating so efficiency and attention to detail is key
The ideal Finance Assistant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Graduate in a relevant subject or studying/has studied a relevant accounting course
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (typically dealing with 150 – 300 lines of data)
• The ability to work efficiency with high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills as you are interacting with 23 international territories
• SAP (preferable)
• AAT, ACCA or CIMA studier with desire to complete a formal accounting qualification
• 2 years minimum accounting experience with the ambition to progress and improve
• Experience of working with overseas entities and in multicurrency environments.
