Tax Manager - 100% remote

Ruby Group are looking for a Tax Manager to join a global technology business. Our client has seen their turnover Quadruple because of recent acquisitions. Further growth is forecasted. A recent listing has also secured a large amount of Funding. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be in a highly visible and challenging position. Responsible for the production of deferred tax provisions under US GAAP for all UK and Non-UK entities.

Your key deliverables will be Maintain up to date knowledge on tax legislation and to prepare tax disclosures for IFRS statutory accounts. Assist with ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting and reporting for income taxes including support to the HR Manager in the calculation of other Personal Taxation. Identify tax R&D credit claims, prepare true-up of tax provisions to final returns filed. Liaise with external auditors on annual IFRS audit process. Review tax returns for corporations and Subsidiaries (UK and non-UK). Monthly tax account reconciliations for the subsidiaries and group consolidation. Work closely with Subsidiary Finance teams to collect information necessary to prepare tax provisions and returns. Work with tax advisor on corporate tax filings and other corporate tax matters. Prepare Transfer Pricing calculations - Including the establishment of the process to complete this task. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documents, working with external advisors. Assist with the preparation of the UK VAT return and other non-UK indirect tax returns for all entities. Provide support to the Group Financial Controller in the due diligence of proposed acquisitions. Assist in ad-hoc tax queries as they arise from the business.

The ideal applicant will have a professional qualification in either AAT, qualified or CTT part qualified with a minimum of three years gained whilst working corporate tax. The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, whilst prioritise heavy workloads is key to succeeding in this role. The expectation is that the role will grow significantly in the first year and give the holder the opportunity to stamp their mark on the department. This is an extremely exciting time to join the company. The role is 100% Remote, however the team meet regularly for social events.
