- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for an experienced Management Accountant within the global logistics industry based in Harold Hill near Romford where East London meets Essex.
The role has a well-rounded list of duties within a stable team and a warm family friendly environment. The business is going through consistent growth and they have a unique product which puts them as number one in their industry globally, they have future growth prospects a 10 - 15% bonus, 25 days holiday an international business trip per annum and study support should you require it.
You will be supporting the Group Financial Controller and finance department by completing management and
accounting tasks as well as team development. You will also be providing support to the Head Office and overseas Accounts Teams and assist with decision making.
The ideal Management Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Part or full accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or QBE
• Previous experience in similar role and experience in consolidated accounts.
• Good analytical approach to financial management and experience assisting with audits
• Able to work using own initiative when necessary and competence to manage a team when required
• Previous experience in developing and managing financial systems and policies
• Competent with IT including Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
• Ability to travel both within the UK and overseas when required
