- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent Assistant Accountant within the manufacturing industry based in Chessington, Greater London.
They have hybrid working, private healthcare and modern offices. They started from one of the oldest firms in their sector with 600 employees, 15 subsidiaries and 10 manufacturing sites in 5 global locations.
You will be joining a finance function of 12 people and taking advantage of their excellent career development path gaining hands on experience in all aspects of finance.
• Assisting with the month end closing process
• Material Costing
• Balance Sheet Control and GL journal posting
• Working capital, fixed asset and cost reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Year-end reporting and audit queries
The ideal Assistant Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Recent experience of working with a major ERP platform, preferably SAP
• Have previous costing and general ledger experience in a process manufacturing environment
• Flexible, resilient and proactive with strong communication skills
• Analytical Microsoft Excel Skills
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA Studier (or equivalent level)
