- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent Financial Accounting opportunity within a technology business based in Wolverhampton.
With over 35 years’ experience they are a leader in their sector, specialising in solutions for large organisations. They are committed to providing service excellence through automated business systems.
You will be supporting the Finance department and the Head of Finance in particular including deputising where required.
• Maintaining reports and the integrity of their financial data. This will include reconciliations, reporting, internal control, payroll and budget control and day-to-day data entry
• Managing the day-to-day requirements of the finance department
• Preparation of monthly reports, including debtor and creditor performance
• Investigating expenditure variances and reporting to budget holders
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journals, including accruals, prepayments and depreciation
• Managing the purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, payment runs and expenses
• Processing monthly payroll and managing year end reporting
The ideal Financial Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Active part qualified studier (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Sound Microsoft Excel exposure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A sharp eye for detail, a combination of speed and accuracy is essential
