Accountant

Ruby Group have been instructed on an Accountant position for a private investment company based in Central London. The company was founded by an entrepreneur who strives for greatness and growth. The company has over 25 years heritage and boasts a portfolio of investments and projects worth over $10B. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic finance professional looking to join an ever growing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department ensuring accurate and timely tracking of all financial transactions, cash flow, budgeting and production of monthly reports.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible payments/transactions
• Review of monthly management accounts
• Input into forecasting and budgeting
• Manage invoicing and cash requirements
• Prepare data-driven analysis to advise on business decisions
• Support and contribute to new initiatives and commercial projects
• Drive the annual budgeting process
• Liaise with the external Group Accountant

The ideal Candidate will be university educated, have a minimum of 2 years working in a finance function and be system savvy, ideally with experience using Xero and Excel (Vlook ups and Pivot tables). The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and have attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
