Finance Business Partner

Ruby Group are recruiting a Finance Business Partner position for a listed global logistics company based in London. This is a permanent role reporting in the FP&A Director. This role is hybrid working working, can offer flexible hours, and is based in a newly refurbished office based in the heart of London. The responsibilities/duties are: -

• Definition of procedures and policies for budget and forecast preparation, aligned with Group guidelines.
• Business Partnering of various teams with key focus on IT to support in the financial planning, modelling and evaluation of enhancements, and new initiatives.
• Support in the preparation of the budget and quarterly forecasts, and rolling forecast for Global Operations.
• Project progress monitoring, cost tracking and analysis of enhancements ROI.
• Reporting and cost controlling of regular operations. Serve as a liaison between segment finance, corporate finance, shared services Accounting and FP&A teams, specifically related to the monthly close, forecast and budget processes. Ensure issues are resolved, and business matters are communicated, on a timely basis.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and reporting changes required by the organization. Propose changes to the reporting as appropriate to maintain the relevance of the information presented.

The ideal candidate will have: -

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CIMA/ACCA/CPA certification or in progress
• Experience in a similar function
• Experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong written, oral and presentation skills; effective communicator; ability to influence others.
