FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Ruby Group are looking for a Financial Accountant to join a Global business listed on the NYSE. This is an interim role supporting the Head of finance working in a team of 6 people. It is a hybrid position that is due to start immediately. The duties/responsibilities are: -
 

• To assist the production of consolidated financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX.
• Production of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements for submission to the SEC.
• Be involved with the group consolidation process and support the hiring manager.
• Preparation of additional supporting schedules for review, providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders.
• production of schedules for tax
• Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions.
• Assisting the Head of Finance in maintaining the Group's compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Working collaboratively across the wider finance team and the business to ensure performance is understood and processes can be improved.

The ideal applicant will be fully qualified in either ACA/ACCA or at finalist level. Have knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and SOX is highly desirable. Strong academic, audit and financial reporting background will be beneficial in this role, especially having dealt with challenging technical accounting issues. You must have the Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. You must be a good team player, have an eye for detail and enjoy tackling new challenges.
