Description
Ruby Group are looking for a Finance Systems Project lead to join a global ftse250 located in central London. Reporting to the Systems Finance Manager the role of the finance systems project lead involves managing the process of implementing enhancements for business systems improvements, directing the course of those improvements, understanding business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of the solutions with relevant stakeholders.

This role will work as part of group finance team, your key deliverable's will be. Creating work and budget plans for projects. Detailed understanding of the technical and process aspects of the project. Directing and leading projects through an organised change process. Directing work with internal and external software developers, system consultants and end users to produce global project solutions. Fostering good working relationships with all project stakeholders. Ensure good end to end project management including but not limited to the gathering of requirements, solution creation, testing, training. Reassigning of finalised project solution to business as usual teams. Ensuring quality, timely and cost effective delivery of project outcomes to stakeholders. Proposing opportunities for systems and process improvements where applicable. Other ad-hoc duties as required.

The ideal applicant will have a proven background implementing finance systems, be educated to degree level and hold a professional qualification in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You must have excellent communication and the ability to work to deadlines. Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL skills and Navision skills are advantageous.
