Ruby Group are looking for a credit control supervisor to join a FTSE100 located in west london. Reporting to the finance manager you will be responsible for supervising a team of 8 credit controllers, you will have full responsibility for the credit control function, running credit checks and setting credit limits in line with policy, oversee preparation of weekly reminder letters and monthly statements. Preparation of monthly KPI reports on sales ledger Manage and motivate the Credit Control team ensuring all CC procedures are adhered to. Maximize cash collection, reduce 90+ debt and manage risk to minimize exposure to the business. Strive to achieve KPI and Target levels required to meet the business needs. Manage and provide advice and guidance on all legal proceedings. Responsible for reducing the unallocated receipts ledger. Manage and provide advice and guidance on all bad debt provisions. Complete monthly debtors reports and prepare required balance sheet analysis. Chase specific Ledger focusing on large/problem. Reconcile Debtor accounts. Carry out all month end procedures. Conduct training sessions with the team. Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers at all times in respect of any related issue connected with Credit Control duties.
The ideal credit control supervisor will have a proven track record in leading teams and reducing debtors days. Candidates that are ICM qualified will have an advantage. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to learn and deliver to deadlines. Have more than 3 years in a credit control/sales ledger team leader. Personality that actively seeks and drives innovation and improvement.
