Part Qualified Management Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a Management Accountant to join an International Publishing house that employ over 1000 people in the London head office. This is a newly created position as a result of an increase in business. Reporting into the Financial Controller your responsibilities will be, to produce a set of monthly management accounts. To manage the provision of accurate and timely financial information to key customers and other budget holders, including appropriate variance analysis. This will include: the annual budgets; quarterly re-forecasts and monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. To ensure all assets are maintained on the register and the monthly depreciation is calculated accurately. To develop reports for management, including sales reports, monthly management accounts, stock reports, Joint Ventures etc. To ensure that royalty’s payable to individuals and 3rd party companies are calculated correctly and paid on time. To assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements and year-end audit file. To assist in the ongoing improvement of financial reporting, systems and processes. Assist budget holders with any ad-hoc queries including financial models for proposed activities. 

The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level and be working towards a professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or AAT. You must be at least part qualified and have experience working within management accounts. Candidates that have advanced excel and Navision Knowledge will have an advantage.
