- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for an experienced Accountant within the hospitality industry based in central London.

You will be providing accounting and supervisory support to the Financial Controller in all aspects of hotel operational accounting, and deputising in their absence.
• To produce timely and reliable management information reports monthly
• To control a centralised accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed
• To investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences
• To perform month end for Accounts Payable, VAT and general ledger in the finance system
• Prepare monthly reconciliation and analysis of Agency payroll, ensuring that all invoices and requests for Agency personnel have been properly vetted, verified and authorized
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist in monthly preparation of Management Accounts
• Production and completion of various statutory returns
The ideal Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
• ACCA (Qualified or Part Qualified)
• Minimum 2 years in similar capacity
• Familiar with hotel accounting as well as hotel operations
• Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with enforcing internal controls and
associated policies and procedures
