Ruby Group are looking for a Finance Manager to join a listed company located in Central London. You will be part of the Hospitality Asset Management team that provides specialist advice to owners and developers of hotels during the acquisition process and in the on-going management. The UK business is headquartered in London, with 1000 specialists throughout 20 offices across the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the divisional director your responsibilities will be to oversee the accounting and reporting functions at a number of UK hotels. Ensuring statutory reporting compliance for those hotels. Managing the outsourced provider of payroll services for employees at two hotels. Managing all statutory accounting and reporting for a number of hotels. Ensuring that any allocated/ad hoc work is dealt with promptly and accurately. Bank reconciliation follow through testing each month. Reporting & Analysis - Accurate and timely production of financial reports and associated information. Contributing to the Hospitality Asset Management team in the analysis of operational and financial information involved in the potential acquisition of hotels by clients. Dealing with any ad-hoc queries that arise. Budgeting & Forecasting, preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Continuous review of processes, systems & reporting to identify improvements. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure accurate accounting of a number of hotels through the use of approved processes & procedures. Managing the statutory reporting for a specialist company which employs operational staff at a number of Hotels.
The ideal applicant will be at least part qualified / finalist level in either ACCA or CIMA. Have excellent communications skills and have the ability to work to deadlines, You must have produced a full set of monthly management accounts.
