- Ruby Group are recruiting for a Permanent opportunity suitable for a recent chemistry or chemical engineering graduate for a Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator opportunity.
The organisation is £150 million t/o business in the chemical industry based in Guildford, Surrey.
This is a permanent vacancy for a successful business with a healthy balance sheet and recent acquisitive growth.
Your responsibilities include working across the supply chain to ensure service to customers and internal stakeholders. The role has scope across the whole supply chain which will involve raising and managing purchase orders, checking and approving invoices, production planning across multiple sites in Europe, raising production orders, arranging logistics with contracted and spot providers and managing 3rd party suppliers. To ensure efficient delivery to customers this will require close communication with sales, customer service and logistics team members. The role requires a high level of autonomy and adaptability.
The ideal Logistics Coordinator will possess the following attributes/skills:
· A degree in chemistry or bio chemistry
· An organised individual with examples of outstanding organisational skills
· A confident individual who enjoys interacting with varying personalities and levels of seniority
