- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent opportunity with a temporary probation period suitable for a credit controller seeking a challenge and growth within their career. The business is in retail industry based in the South London, Croydon, Surrey Area.
For the right candidate, the role will lead to a £25,000 basic plus a £50 - £180 bonus per month, 22 days holiday plus and extra day for your birthday. They are a £320mn t/o business with around 300 people in the business.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
· To undertake effective collection and obtain earliest possible settlement accounts so as to improve cash flow and minimise bad debt exposure.
· Account Reconciliations
· Responsible for circa 500 Key Accounts
· Deal with customer’s enquiries and able to identify & manage the need for credit notes
· Maintaining and building relationships with customers whilst ensuring collection targets are met
· Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
· Be able to produce and manipulate Excel workbooks to intermediate level
· Daily / Weekly analysis of all New Accounts open for investigations
The ideal credit controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
· Experience within a corporate/retail collections department
· System requirements – excel (intermediate level – spreadsheets / formulas)
· Experience in low volume high value credit control
· Enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking and reliable
· The ability to work to tight deadlines, demonstrating a proactive, problem solving approach
