Management Accountant - Ftse250

Ruby Group are looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join a global FTSE250 located in Central London. Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will be. Preparing several sets of management accounts to deadlines with some guidance from the Business Analyst, Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager. Review management accounts with the Business Group Manager and make all appropriate changes. Write thorough account commentaries. Liaise with FM and BGMs. Take on additional work when available and necessary. Prepare inter-company, bank and control account reconciliations with guidance from the Senior Management Accountant or Business Analyst. Respond to queries in a timely manner and keep superiors informed.

The ideal applicant will have an excellent academic record and be educated to degree level working towards a professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA, AAT. You must have excellent communication skills both oral and written. Be confident as you will be liaising with senior finance and business managers. Able to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively to ensure that deadlines are met. Good Excel skills. A knowledge of business software - Vision, SUN and SAP Business Objects would be advantageous. Understanding of double-entry book keeping, statutory income statement and balance sheets.
