- Ruby Group are recruiting for Finance Manager suitable for a bright part qualified level studier who wants to qualify and is ready to manage and work for a manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire (near Hitchin).
The business is impressive and profitable with excellent staff retention levels, 20-30 years is normal tenure for the 100 or so employees. Study will be supported, and you will receive good benefits at the level expected from a £15 mn turnover SME business.
You will need good interpersonal skills, patience and leadership qualities to guide the small team. They require adaptable personalities who are open to ideas, can absorb them and implement processes to see them through.
There ethos is review refresh and improve, and you will be expected to have full responsibility for all aspects of the finance function. Other aspects will require an analytical mindset to analyse the accounts and present sensible commercial findings to aid decision making (once the grass root finance functions are fully grasped).
The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
· AAT or ACCA part/full qualification
· SME exposure with full responsibility of a similar sized business
· An open mind with the ability to tactfully put processes in place that lead to delegation while respecting the status quo
