- Ruby Group are recruiting for a management consultancy based in central London who seek an audit trained (ACA or ACCA) qualified Financial Accountant for a 6-month year-end temporary position starting mid to late February.
They have a vibrant atmosphere where people are genuinely passionate about their work and what the company stands for. The business is unique with flexible hours and regular month end social events involving external speakers and hospitality.
You will be focusing on the year end audit which will take up about 75% of your time thereafter the role involves routine month end and ad-hoc tasks. The business has offices in New York, Sydney, Singapore and New Zealand and you will be coordinating the consolidation of international group accounts. Other responsibilities will be mentoring a finance assistant to give them a good amount of exposure to the year-end process.
The ideal chartered Financial Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
· An ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualification from an audit background
· Significant experience of running an audit with statutory accounts preparation under UK GAAP and FRS 102
· An intermediate level of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables)
· A Management Consultancy background (desirable)
