Project Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a project accountant to join a global business that turnover 1 billion and employ over 7000 staff globally. This is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join the Group Finance team of a multinational company. The position will offer the right candidate a varied role in industry. Based in the project office in Sweden and reporting to the Project Director on site and the Finance Director in London. Your responsibilities will be  to Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for operational management on site. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s accounting records and financial systems. Responsibility for all taxation and revenue returns in the region. Play a full part in providing relevant & timely financial information to the Main Board / Senior Management to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the Projects position. Preparation of annual statutory Financial Statements. Preparation of forecasts and continued monitoring & review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to the management team and third party stakeholders. Active management of overheads whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies and savings. Ownership of the company internal control environment from a finance perspective within the region.

The ideal applicant with be educated to degree level and be fully qualified in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have at least three years post qualified experience. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This is a two year project located in Sweden.
