Ruby Group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a ftse250 located in central London. Our client operate in over 50 countries and are market leaders in their industry. This position has arisen because of an internal promotion. Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will be. Reviewing P&L nominal ledgers and analysing expenses for all of the London trading entities. Preparing and posting journals, i.e. prepayments, accruals, inter-company recharges and month end journals. Assisting with the weekly and monthly financial trading reports, preparation of VAT returns, and the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement, Inter-company Reconciliations, processing accounts payable, assisting with month end and year end.
The ideal applicant with be educated to degree level and be working towards a professional qualification in either ACCA or CIMA. You must have a minimum of 6 months experience working within a relevant finance position. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise work is essential.
