- Ruby Group are looking for a Group Accountant to join a FTSE100 located in the city of London. The position is to cover fourteen months maternity leave. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities will be to assist with group reporting, whilst supervising a team of three. Key Deliverables being, preparation of the Group’s monthly management accounts, including consolidation of journals, analysis of the Group’s monthly results. Preparation of the Group’s 12 month rolling cash flow forecast and consolidation of full year forecast results on a quarterly basis. Assist in the preparation of Strategy, Budgets and presentations, in the preparation of the Group’s annual report and interim statement, this will Include related analyst presentations and internal announcements. Assist in the year end and interim process, including liaising with external auditors and the planning process. Responsibility for liaising with divisional finance teams, being their first port of call for group reporting related queries and other technical accounting advice. You will continuously development of the Group’s reports and analysis. Develop policies and internal controls. You will also be involved with a number of projects.
The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level and have a professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA. You must have previous experience working in a Group reporting environment, having gained experience consolidating management accounts. You must have a strong understanding of IFRS and have an advanced level of excel. Hyperion experience is advantageous. If you are immediately available or on short notice please submit your CV.
