- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent Group Financial Accountant from a multinational media business based in central London.
They are in a fashionable location within an iconic building and a good working environment. The business is acquisitional and consistently changing and the team enjoy variety in their duties which keep them very stable with little staff turnover. It is a group function made up 15 talented qualified accountants. They have showers and towels and the culture is open, friendly and pretty easy going. If you are an active person there are a few team social events that you can get involved with. They pay well, everyone is happy and packages tend to be above market rate with generous annual bonuses and a car allowance.
As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be involved in process improvement and efficiencies to aid commercial senior management decision making. You will need strong technical financial accounting exposure with a focus on maintaining and producing a stable controls environment.
You will be involved in:
· The year-end and group consolidation process
· Forecasting with general ledger accounting
· Group cost and cash flow maintenance
· Working towards tight statutory accounting deadlines
The ideal Group Financial Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
· ACA, ACMA (CIMA), ACCA Qualified with 3 – 5 years post qualified exposure (PQE)
· A strong multi-national technical accounting background
