Finance Systems Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to join a FTSE350 in West London. The position is newly created and it will be reporting into both the Head of Finance and the Head of IT. The purpose of the role will be to manage Microsoft Dynamics, in-house systems and general accounting duties. This is a perfect role for a finance professional who has a good accounting foundation and would like to move more into a systems focussed position. Your main duties would be: - Ensuring the daily or periodic interfaces systems work seamlessly and troubleshoot any errors or process failures.

• Liaise with third party system support companies as required to ensure the smooth running of all finance systems & interfaces.
• Maintaining system user access rights, system user security and conducting system health check audits.
• Solid understanding of report writing tool and data management process.
• Liaise and work closely with the Group’s IT department.
• Assist with any financial system implementation, upgrade and enhancement.
• Continually look at ways to optimising system usage and ensure that the accounting system is being used to its full potential.
• Good understanding of finance processes like accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank payments, general ledger and balance sheet.
• Basic understanding of financial reports and key financial statements
• Experience in managing or administering finance systems.
• Reviewing and improving current processes to increase the output and quality of data from existing systems.

The ideal candidate would be currently studying or newly qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA have experience with Microsoft Dynamics and have strong leadership qualities. To apply please click below
