- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent Finance Manager within the creative, e-commerce, design and tech industry based in Farringdon, Central London.

The firm is far from corporate and this role is a newly created blank canvass where your natural people skills will be fully utilised. The role will report directly the Group Financial Controller and support the finance team to assist with preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly management accounts.
You will also have involvement with month end closing, journal entry preparation and general ledger reconciliations. The successful individual will assist in implementing and managing the process, change and controls. Other elements of the role will include; overseeing two transactional staff members, assisting in variance analysis, preparing UK and European VAT returns, CAPEX and depreciation maintenance, creation of analyses and reports as requested, liaising with auditors on an annual basis together with cash flow ownership, Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction analysis while also staying informed of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
The ideal Finance Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
· A passion for people with tangible and practical management skills with direct reports
· True business partnering skills with non-finance and the ability to confidently communicate
· Experience of business growth within a successful start-up environment
· Qualified Accountant (ACA, ICAEW, CIMA, ACMA, CA, ICAS, CPA, ACCA, CGMA)
