- Ruby Group are recruiting for a newly created permanent Senior Management Accountant to work within a FTSE listed global Real Estate firm based in Central London.
This is an excellent place to work with a high level of staff retention. On top your basic there will be a discretionary annual bonus as well as healthcare and good benefits.
You will be responsible for all costs within a large division of the business, ensuring they are budgeted for and charged out correctly, along with the production of monthly and statutory accounts.
More specifically:
- Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts to a strict timetable
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Costs attribution with monthly departmental review and query resolution and with reporting
- Managing the assistant & junior accountant and providing guidance and assistance where necessary
- Carrying out the appraisals for the assistant & junior accountant
- Production and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts with quarterly VAT returns
- Liaising with auditors
The ideal Senior Management Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Finalist or Newly Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Management Accounts background essential
- Experience of SAP preferential but not essential
- Good excel skills needed
- Experience of regular communication with all levels of a large complex organisation
- Management experience essential
