Ruby Group are recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant position for a media company in Central London. The position is reporting into the Finance Manager & Financial Controller and will sit within a team of 10 finance professionals. Your main duties/responsibilities will be as followed: -
- Prepare a full set of monthly management accounts
- Profit & Loss
- Cash flow forecasting
- Budget preparation on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset register
- Variance analysis
- KPI Reporting
- Preparation for month-end & statutory accounts
- Liaising with auditors at year-end dealing with queries
- Managing one junior member of staff
- Getting involved with projects such as system implementation
The ideal candidate will be currently studying or at finalist level in ACCA or CIMA. They will also be an excellent communicator, have a commercial mindset and be keen to progress through the ranks. The candidate will be accustomed to a fast-paced environment with a vibrant atmosphere. This position is perfect for any candidate who has worked in a big finance team or has aspirations to do so. Also, this role is ideal for any candidate who wants to progress to a Finance Manager position.
