- Ruby Group are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for a Finance Manager within a leading technology business based in Central London.
They are in a great location next to a tube station in zone 1 and have a medium-sized London office with a wider team in international locations.
Leadership skills and experience are required to assist the finance director in leading the finance team through month-end process, financial reporting, audit, cyclical finance deliverables and numerous projects, including a systems implementation.
Your duties will include:
• Managing the month-end close process with the Finance Director
• Taking full ownership of finance function including monthly accounting close and tax and treasury duties
• Acting as a primary support for the accounting function and a right-hand contact to the FD
• Producing a full set of monthly management accounts incorporating profit and loss variances and commentaries
• Managing the Group Finance reporting requirements and taking responsibility for the effective and timely delivery of international financial and management reports, interim statements and financials for the annual Report and Accounts. This includes monthly cash flow forecasts and bi-annual debt covenant calculations
• Assisting the Finance Systems Program Implementation Manager with the implementation, mapping and Migration of a new accounting system
• Key part in the year-end and statutory accounting, including relationship with the auditors; management accounting responsibilities including budgeting and month-end review
The ideal Finance Systems Manager will possess the following attributes/skills:
• IFRS and SOX/ internal controls knowledge/exposure would be beneficial
• An accountancy background (ideally with an ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA qualification)
