- Ruby Group are recruiting for a temporary opportunity suitable for a credit controller. My client is within the higher education sector based in Central London they are looking for the candidates to be in place in the coming weeks.
My client has an open plan, modern and professional office and is one of the most internationally renowned institutions in their sector. Currently, the department is working entirely remotely from home. Whilst we anticipate that this will continue for many months and possibly for the duration of the contract, there is the possibility that the Credit Control team will partly or fully return to an office in London.
You will be recovering Student Tuition and/or Residence Fees, answering queries by email/phone, setting up extensions and re-payment plans and also application and allocation of receipts to the ledger.
The ideal Credit Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Experience of credit control in an education or consumer environment (desirable)
- A minimum of two years of credit control experience
- The ability to manage their section of the ledger and to be able to get through high volumes of queries and chasing efficiently
- The team will help to develop and train the successful candidate to enhance their collection skills but it is inherent that they are quick learners and therefore able to pick up new processes quickly
