- Ruby Group are urgently submitting CVs for a temporary credit controller. My client is within the higher education sector based in Central London they will book interviews immediately for successful candidates and offer in due course.
My client has an open plan, modern and professional office and is one of the most internationally renowned institutions in their sector. Currently, the department is working entirely remotely from home. Whilst we anticipate that this will continue for many months and possibly for the duration of the contract, there is the possibility that the Credit Control team will partly or fully return to an office in London.
You will be assisting the section supervisor(s) across the student fee billing and commercial and student collections team. This new role will be split across two teams providing you with an exciting opportunity to get a unique perspective across all department functions and services. The role holder will help ensure the team complete all the student tuition fee billing and that unpaid debts within the assigned area are then chased for payment in accordance with the College’s credit policy.
The ideal Credit Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Experience of credit control in an education or consumer focused environment (desirable)
• A minimum of two years of credit control experience
• The ability to manage their section of the ledger and to be able to get through high volumes of queries and chasing efficiently
• The team will help to develop and train the successful candidate to enhance their collection skills but it is inherent that they are quick learners and therefore able to pick up new processes quickly
