- Ruby Group are urgently submitting CVs for a temporary credit controller. My client is within the higher education sector based in Central London they will book interviews immediately for successful candidates and offer in due course.
My client has an open plan, modern and professional office and is one of the most internationally renowned institutions in their sector. Currently, the department is working entirely remotely from home. Whilst we anticipate that this will continue for many months and possibly for the duration of the contract, there is the possibility that the Credit Control team will partly or fully return to an office in London.
We need someone who has a thirst to improve processes and embed themselves into the culture. A solutions focused process driven individual who wants to improve matters for colleagues and the students alike. The ideal candidate is able to express their opinion and communicate confidently. And while this is a temporary position we want someone who wishes to stay in Credit Control and in the role for the long term.
The ideal Credit Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
• Experience of credit control in an education or consumer focused environment (desirable)
• A minimum of two years of credit control experience
• The ability to manage their section of the ledger and to be able to get through high volumes of queries and chasing efficiently
• The team will help to develop and train the successful candidate to enhance their collection skills but it is inherent that they are quick learners and therefore able to pick up new processes quickly
