Ruby Group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a £20 million turnover business located in the city of London on a temporary basis. Supporting the Financial Controller during a busy time of year. Your responsibilities will be, to assist with the processing of accounts payable and receivable invoices, allocating cash, dealing with, and resolving queries. Preparing weekly payment runs. Preparation of accruals and prepayments, VAT returns and assisting with credit control.
The ideal applicant will be working towards a professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or AAT and have a minimum of two year’s experience gained whilst working in a relevant finance position. Excellent communication skills are essential, Sage intact experience Is advantageous. You must have intermediate excel skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
