- Description
- Ruby Group is recruiting a Financial Analyst position for a FTSE business based in Central London. This is a newly created permanent position reporting into the Financial Controller and working within a team of 12 people.
- Your main duties/responsibilities will be: -
- Perform Tracking and Reporting
- Prepare and analyse daily trading P/L reports
- Align with Asia and North America on Daily P/L
- Assist Financial Controller and Finance Manager in month-end closing processes (journal entries,reconciliation etc)
- Assist in monthly management accounts package
- Prepare and submit year-end Notes package for consolidation purposes
- Liaise with external auditors during year-end group reporting
- Validate and release cash payments
- Preparation of weekly Cash Flow Forecasting
- Preparation of annual budgeting
- Support to controlling and commercial teams on current processes
- Assist Management with presentations
- Assist on IMPACT items and implementations
- The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
- 5+ years of progressive controlling/planning/finance and accounting
- Advanced excel -VBA macros, Power BI, Excel Analysis
- Very strong communication and team working skills
- Previous working experience of SAP
- Strong knowledge in market data management and analysis
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking
