Ruby Group a looking for a Divisional Financial Controller to join a global FTSE 250 located in central London. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee a team of 15 and serve as a business partner to divisional directors.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with strategic direction and tactical initiatives for the division, as well as conducting financial and operational modelling to measure the impact and practicality of changes to structure and organic growth products. You will review the division's financial performance commentary for the relevant month, prepare and review monthly meeting presentations, and handle the preparation and review of budgets, rolling forecasts, KPIs, statutory accounts, incentive schemes, and new business plans. You will resolve internal and external audit management letter points and take on ad hoc operational responsibilities for the division, such as optimising sales performance, improving business process efficiencies, and managing specific projects like systems integration. Your role will also involve reviewing monthly management accounts. You will conduct ad hoc analysis and projects, including financial due diligence assignments on potential acquisitions and internal audits both in the UK and overseas. You will work on improving existing financial systems and controls. Additionally, you will undertake special projects for the CFO or Finance Director.
The ideal candidate will be ACA/CIMA or ACCA qualified with at least four years of post-qualification experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. A willingness to travel is required. Advanced knowledge of Excel, SUN/SAP is preferred.
