Head of FP&A

Ruby Group are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the FP&A function within a global, multi-division manufacturing business. This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to shape financial planning and analysis across the group while remaining hands-on with key deliverables. In this role, you will manage a team of six Management Accountants and act as a financial business partner to senior stakeholders. You’ll oversee the preparation of tailored financial reporting, monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and five-year plans. You will also drive efficiency through system improvements and deliver insightful analysis to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the FP&A team and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and business performance analysis.
• Manage annual budgeting and long-term planning processes.
• Develop financial models and provide clear insights for strategic decisions.
• Drive process improvements and system optimisation (e.g., JDE or similar).
• Partner with senior managers across multiple divisions.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• Proven experience in FP&A within a complex, global commercial environment.
• Strong track record in financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Skilled in financial modelling and interpreting data for decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
