- Ruby Group are exclusively recruiting for a permanent Assistant Financial Controller vacancy within a global technology company based in Staffordshire. They have 40 locations world-wide and 2000 employees based in 25 countries and they continue to grow.
The role will be challenging and rewarding with a clear progression path to a Financial Controller (within 12 months) and access to all areas of finance, your salary will also be supplemented with a 10% bonus and planned benefit & pay reviews.
You will be looking after a £70 million t/o entity of the group who interact with some of the worlds most recognised organisations.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with preparation of full monthly management accounts
• Stock reconciliation and analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Assisting with budgeting and cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Assisting with yearend statutory audit
• Assisting with developing, implementing, and reviewing controls, to drive accurate and timely decision-making information.
• Continuous improvement finance projects
• Business partnering
• Line management of the Senior Finance Officer while assisting with the supervision of nominal, sales, and purchase ledger functions
• Process documentation and process improvement projects
• Support with system implementation
The ideal Assistant Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills:
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with 5 years post qualification experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ecommerce exposure
• Experience in a fast-moving environment
• Proficient in financial & commercial analysis
• Excellent communication skills communicate clearly and confidently to have a positive influence on others
